While we don’t have any current vacancies at Impelo, we’re always on the lookout for passionate, like-minded creatives who connect with our values. As we grow into a more dancer- and user-led organisation, there are lots of ways to get involved, from becoming a member or joining our dancer support network, to potentially joining our board.

ARE YOU A DANCER?
We offer a membership for dancers, dance practitioners, and dance artists who currently live or work in Powys. At its core, it’s a way to connect rural artists, open up conversations, share practice, and offer support.
The network is called Y Nyth, meaning “The Nest” in Welsh, it is our dancer membership and our commitment to being a dancer and user-led organisation.

TRUSTEES
While we’re not actively recruiting new board members right now, we’re always open to conversations about how you could contribute to Impelo’s mission. We’re committed to encouraging diverse leadership, and if you feel aligned with our values or believe you could bring valuable skills to the table, we’d love to have an informal chat about the possibility of joining our board.
We’re especially interested in expertise in areas such as HR, safeguarding, building, and education. If any of these resonate with you, and you have the passion and vision to help guide Impelo through the next exciting chapter, we’d love to hear from you.
If holding the role of a trustee feels like too much of a commitment right now, don’t worry! Given our recent transition into an association model of governance, being part of our community membership could be a great fit for you. Whether as a trustee or as a member, we’re open to exploring how you can get involved at a level that suits you.
